Price impact: 1Direction: upSource: DigiTimes Daily
SK hynix's latest quarter shows how much future output is being committed in advance, according to DigiTimes. The company said agreements with 14 major customers cover more than half of its planned capacity for 2027 and 2028. The report also notes that revenue rose sharply from a year earlier as AI-memory demand grew. The figures point to stronger forward visibility for the supplier, but do not reveal individual customer allocations or prove that the entire memory market has moved to contract-based sales.
