China's share of ASML system sales rose to 23% in Q3

ASML reported that China accounted for 23% of its system sales in the third quarter, up from 14% in Q2. Separate reports link Chinese memory and storage makers to purchases of DUV lithography tools.

ASML's regional breakdown put Taiwan at 32% of Q3 system sales, South Korea at 31%, China at 23% and the United States at 13%. China ranked third, with its share up from 14% in the prior quarter. TechPowerUp reports that Chinese chipmakers have been building equipment inventories. Earlier reports cited by the outlet said memory producer CXMT and storage maker YMTC had secured DUV lithography tools for planned expansion over the next three years. That stockpiling explanation is reported separately from ASML's sales figures, and possible export restrictions remain a supply-chain risk rather than a confirmed outcome.
