The DigiTimes item says Samsung Electronics reported KRW 171.5 trillion in consolidated revenue and KRW 89.5 trillion in operating profit for the second quarter of 2026. The same memory upcycle that supported those results also weighed on the Device eXperience division, which recorded a KRW 0.8 trillion operating loss. For RamTrend, the important signal is the spread between memory suppliers benefiting from high prices and device makers absorbing higher bill-of-material costs.
