Micro-Transfer Printing Advances Silicon Photonics Path for AI Links

An EE Times Asia report says an IEEE study presents micro-transfer printing as a scalable approach for improving heterogeneous integration in silicon photonics. The cited application areas include AI systems and high-speed communications, where interconnect bandwidth is becoming more important. This is not a direct RAM pricing event. Its relevance to RamTrend is indirect: better optical interconnect technology can support AI infrastructure growth, which in turn can reinforce demand for HBM and server DRAM.
