Sapphire Edge AI Robotics Platform Uses Up to 128GB LPDDR5x

TechPowerUp carried Sapphire Technology's announcement of the EDGE+ Apex SOM/Carrier Robotics Platform. The compact payload says the system uses AMD Ryzen AI Embedded X100 Series processors and can be configured with up to 128GB of LPDDR5x memory for autonomous robotics workloads. For RamTrend, this is another example of high-capacity LPDDR moving into edge AI systems. Robotics platforms need local memory for perception, planning, and control workloads that may run continuously outside the data center.
