ZeroPoint ZeroStream Targets Effective Memory Bandwidth for AI Systems

StorageNewsletter reports that ZeroPoint Technologies introduced ZeroStream, a hardware IP product for memory compression and optimization. The compact payload says it is intended to raise effective memory bandwidth across AI accelerators, data centers, and edge-computing use cases. For RamTrend, this sits in the memory-efficiency category rather than raw capacity supply. Bandwidth-saving IP can reduce stalls and improve accelerator throughput when DRAM or HBM bandwidth is a limiting factor. It may also let some systems extract more performance from existing memory channels, although the payload does not provide customer wins, silicon availability, or pricing.
