Framework Mini-PC Tease Shows 192GB Unified Memory Reaching Client AI Systems

TechPowerUp reports that Framework teased a mini-PC qualification platform using AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495. The compact payload says the system supports 192GB of unified LPDDR5X-8533 memory, up from the 128GB supported by the earlier Ryzen AI Max+ 395 generation. For RamTrend, this is a client AI memory signal. Larger unified-memory pools make local AI workloads more practical on compact systems, including larger models and multiple simultaneous AI workflows. If more vendors adopt this class of platform, high-capacity LPDDR5X demand could expand beyond premium notebooks into mini-PC and workstation-like desktop systems.
