Khadas Mini PC Price Hike Shows DDR5 Cost Pressure Reaching OEMs

TechPowerUp reports that Khadas increased pricing for its Mind Pro mini PC line after component availability worsened. The available Core Ultra X7 model with 64 GB of memory and 2 TB of SSD storage was updated to a $2,599 price point, while other planned configurations have been delayed or may not ship as planned. The memory signal is direct at the system level. The report says the 96 GB version using DDR5-9600 memory was delayed because memory costs rose disproportionately. For RamTrend, this is evidence that DRAM inflation is affecting finished PC pricing and product availability, not only contract negotiations among memory suppliers.
