Giantec Raises NOR Flash Prices By 25%

DigiTimes reports that Giantec Semiconductor told distribution partners it will raise prices for its NOR flash memory products by 25% starting July 6, 2026. The new pricing is set to apply to newly signed orders and to undelivered existing orders. NOR flash is not the same demand pool as DRAM, NAND SSD flash, or HBM, but it is still part of the broader memory ecosystem. A full-portfolio price move from a Chinese supplier points to continued tightness and supplier confidence in embedded-memory niches, especially where customers have fewer immediate alternatives.
