TechPowerUp reports that Kioxia has begun shipping samples of 10th-generation BiCS Flash memory devices. The 1 Tb TLC parts are intended for enterprise and data-center SSDs, with the report pointing to higher NAND interface speed, improved bit density, and better read and write power efficiency versus the prior referenced generation. The RamTrend signal is similar to SanDisk's BiCS10 announcement, but Kioxia's emphasis on enterprise and data-center SSD integration makes the storage-demand angle clearer. Sampling should not be treated as immediate oversupply, yet it matters for future SSD cost curves and power efficiency as AI storage requirements grow.
