Intel Raptor Lake Restart May Reuse DDR4 Capacity

TechPowerUp reports that Intel is restarting production of 13th and 14th Generation Core processors for mainland China. The memory angle is that these LGA-1700 platforms can be built around either DDR4 or DDR5, giving OEMs and DIY buyers more flexibility during a period described as memory-constrained. For RamTrend, this is a modest but useful client-market signal. A revived DDR4-capable platform can extend demand for older memory inventory instead of forcing all new system builds onto DDR5. That may soften some DDR5 pressure in the affected channel while supporting residual DDR4 sell-through, especially in price-sensitive PC builds.
