Swissbit Expands Industrial SSD Line With BiCS8-Based A2000 Series

Swissbit says its new A2000 and A2200 SSDs target mixed-use and write-intensive workloads in industrial systems, networking, edge AI, IoT gateways, enterprise servers, and medical imaging. The company positions the line around PCIe Gen 4 performance, hardware power-loss protection, lifetime monitoring, and in-house controller and firmware expertise. The source also says the drives use BiCS8 3D TLC NAND packaged by Swissbit alongside an eight-channel DRAM-based controller design.
