ADATA Trusta Uses System Memory and SSDs to Extend AI Workloads

ADATA's Trusta enterprise storage brand has launched an AI Scaler solution that moves model deployment beyond GPU memory alone.

Price impact: 2Direction: upSource: StorageNewsletter

StorageNewsletter reports that ADATA's Trusta brand introduced the AI Scaler Extended Memory Solution at Computex 2026. The compact payload says the toolkit combines software and hardware to let AI deployments use system memory and high-speed SSDs in addition to GPU-based resources. For RamTrend, this is relevant because it links AI workload scaling to both main memory and storage. If enterprises use DRAM and SSD capacity to relieve GPU memory limits, demand may broaden beyond HBM and accelerator-attached memory into supporting server memory and fast storage tiers. The payload does not include performance metrics, supported SSD types, capacity targets, pricing, or customer deployments. That makes the near-term market impact limited, but the product direction is aligned with AI infrastructure's push for larger memory pools.
