According to the TechPowerUp summary of TrendForce's latest memory-industry findings, the shift from large-scale training toward agentic AI inference is creating a structural increase in memory demand. TrendForce now estimates the global memory market at $889.3 billion in 2026, up from its prior $551.6 billion estimate, and projects more than $1.28 trillion in 2027, up from $842.7 billion. The source also says the supply deficit is unlikely to clear quickly and that prices are expected to rise further. For RamTrend, this is a broad pricing and demand signal across AI-linked memory markets, with the strongest read-through for HBM, server DRAM, and high-capacity memory used in AI infrastructure.
